About Me
Brittany Fisher is a self-taught mixed media artist currently based in Durham, North Carolina with her husband and their two wonderful kids. Brittany primarily uses different types of medias such as acrylic, oil pastels and mixed media to create works on canvases. Brittany also practices digital art using Adobe Fresco to create designs for prints, clothing and other merchandise.
The Art of Being is a clothing collection is an extension of her art that calls for individuals to be themselves. As a person who used to shy away from being my authentic self just to fit in, my hope is for others to embrace all of who they are without shame or fear.
Brittany’s professional art journey includes commission pieces created for private collectors in Atlanta, Georgia and North Carolina. She has also participated in several group exhibitions at the Co-Lab in Raleigh, the Peel Gallery in Carrboro and the Durham Art Guild. Brittany was also a featured artist in the 2025 Living in Color Exhibition as part of the Raleigh Art and Film Festival.
Brittany is currently represented by The Drinking Gourd Gallery. An online art gallery based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
